Purchasing TeacherMade PRO – Individual and Unlimited – FAQs

There is no difference in the TeacherMade application. The only difference is how much it costs. If you have 20 Teachers but only 500 students at your site, you may want to purchase the Unlimited Site License.

There is a 30 day free trial for TeacherMade PRO when you sign up for TeacherMade. This happens automatically.

To access your receipt, sign into your TeacherMade account and select your profile icon in the top right corner. Then choose, “Manage your Subscription.” This will take you to our trusted payment platform, Stripe. At the bottom of the Stripe screen, select the date under the “Billing History” header. This will open a new tab displaying your billing details Click the, “Download Receipt” button. Your browser will then download a PDF version of your receipt that can be saved and printed!

At this time, we are only accepting POs for a minimum of 4 individual TeacherMade PRO accounts. The reason for this is that by you ordering outside of our Payment Portal, we have to manually set up each account purchased with a PO. This takes much more time for us, not to mention the time it took someone at your site. And then there’s the invoicing, etc.

Account Access – FAQs

No! Students do not need a TeacherMade account to access their assignments at this time. Only Teachers should be creating TeacherMade accounts.

All students need is an assignment link that is generated in the app by the Teacher once she’s scheduled one. Copy and distribute that assignment link to your students. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE STUDENTS SIGN UP FOR TEACHERMADE!!

If you forgot your TeacherMade password, select, “Forgot Password?” on the login screen. You will be prompted to enter your Email. An Email with instructions for resetting your password will be sent to your account. If you remember your password and simply want to change it, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of your account. Choose “Change Password” from the drop down menu. You will be prompted to create a new password. You will also receive an Email asking you to verify the change.

Once you have an account set up, use the Support button in the upper right corner to go to our tech support hub. Once there, you can self-serve via the knowledge base or file a support ticket.

Select your profile icon in the top right corner. From the menu, choose, “Update EMail.” The window that appears will give you the option to add a separate EMail address or, “Connect a Google Account.”

No! You will not. Here’s how you can avoid any problems:

Start by adding a personal email address to the account as your secondary address. To do so, click on the profile icon in the top right corner of your TeacherMade account and click on, “ Update Email.” On the screen that appears, enter in your personal e-mail and click, “Add EMail.” It is important that you verify this email address by following the instructions in the email we send to you. You will now be able to log into the account using this email address and your current password.

When you lose access to your current school email – Make your personal email the primary address and remove the old school email. Once you have a new school email – add it to your account and make it the primary address. Then you will be all set!

TeacherMade uses email to communicate with users about account creations, password verification and recovery, and other events. Your email administrator should change some settings to ensure these important emails get to your Inbox. It is crucial that you have your email administrator permit all incoming emails from the teachermade.com domain. 

In addition, your network administrator may need to grant student and faculty web access to the app.teachermade.com site and to other sites required to run TeacherMade. This is usually not required. If you or your students have trouble operating any part of the TeacherMade application, contact support@teachermade.com and we will provide the most current list of websites to allow.

Student Data Privacy – FAQs

Yes! As evidence of our commitment to compliance, we’ve signed the Student Privacy Pledge. TeacherMade is FERPA Compliant. If your school/district would like us to sign any student privacy forms, we are happy to do so! Just send them over to team@teachermade.com and we will take care of it.

Yes! We are GDPR compliant. If you have any questions or specific forms you would like signed, please email them to team@teachermade.com and we will take care of it.

The TeacherMade app stores Teacher name, email address, school/site name, and password in its database. We also store student emails and names as passed to us from LMSs as well as the work they submit to TeacherMade. We do not share any data with any third party outside of the LMS you’ve used for student assignments, e.g. Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology.
